Little trailers selling wraps and burgers like the one on Route 9 in Wilmington may be cropping up around the country in the years to come.

Wahoo’s, famous for its high-quality food and casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, is seeking to franchise what has thus far been a successful little business.

The owners, Karen and Adam Grinold, participated in a contest in April that was sponsored by the Brattleboro Development Credit Corp.

They tied with another business for first place in the new business category and walked away with $4,500 to put toward their idea as well as priceless advice from the judges.
