Valpak Direct Marketing Services Inc.
has resold advertising sales franchises in Houston and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Now the direct-mail marketing company famous for its coupon-stuffed blue envelopes is close to reselling a similar franchise in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area and turning its focus solely on printing.
Valpak’s parent, Cox Target Media Inc., says it’s no longer actively marketing the company, maintaining an ownership structure in place since it purchased Valpak in 1991.
