Freddy’s Kicks Off Anniversary Week Promotions

The namesake of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will celebrate the company’s seventh anniversary this week with a tour of its Kansas stores.

The chain also opened its 33rd store this month in Gilbert, Ariz., the second by franchisee Equus. The franchisee plans to begin construction on its third Freddy’s in early September.

Freddy Simon, co-founder and namesake of the Wichita-based restaurants, will begin a state-wide tour of Kansas stores to commemorate the Aug. 26, 2002, opening of the West 21st Street store.
