Carl’s Jr. Restaurants Honor Salinas Couple

A Salinas couple was recognized as “Franchisee of the Year” by Carl’s Jr. restaurants’ annual awards ceremony in Las Vegas, officials announced Monday.

Gary and Becky Vick won the award at a ceremony honoring members of the franchise community, according to a news release.

The couple also raised $22,600 for the Carl’s Jr. annual Pink Star Fundraiser for Breast Cancer, officials said, from their eight restaurants located throughout Salinas, Monterey, Seaside, Soledad and King City.
