Uno Chicago Grill Exits Area Market

The area’s two remaining Uno Chicago Grill restaurants have closed.

Area franchisee, Doughboy LLC, closed its Country Club Plaza location in early August after a decade of operations.

Now its locations near Liberty and in Overland Park also have closed.

Doughboy recently sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, listing assets of $3.4 million and debts of $5.48 million.

The owners couldn’t be reached for comment but an official with Uno Chicago Grill confirmed the closings.
