Local Pizza Joint Closes

The local CiCi’s Pizza has closed, according to the company.

The pizza buffet at 1558 Martin Luther King Blvd. closed its doors at the end of business on Saturday, according to corporate training coordinator Pam Goodgion for the Copell, Texas-based company.

“It was the franchisee’s decision,” said Goodgion, who confirmed that the location had been closed for good, not shut down temporarily for renovations or a move. “He decided not to renew his contract with the company.”

Attempts to reach the local franchise owner were not successful.
