This article has helped me a great deal in understanding the different aspects to thinking about taking on a franchise. I would personally use this as a plan for anyone thinking of researching into running a franchise. I found a website that does steps 4 & 5 quite well. The website FranchiseSales , has a dedicated section on franchise information which details the different areas to consider when thinking of running your own franchise. Also on most franchise ad pages there is a video with the franchisor explaining about the offer available to the franchisee.
