Most Durham Reid’s Dairy Locations Closed

Even milk and ice cream aren’t immune to economic conditions.

Reid’s Dairy, which produces juice, take-home sundaes and milkshakes, as well as milk and other dairy products, has lost many of its Durham retail locations, some of which had recently had their names changed to Quickert’s Dairy. Most of those locations are closed.

Stephen Quickert is the owner of Reid’s Dairy. He deals with the production side of the business and owns the name Reid’s Dairy. He said his products are still available in the region. A list of sellers of Reid Dairy products will be available on www.reidsdairy.com soon, he said.
