The Max & Erma’s restaurant near the Dayton Mall has closed.
Located at 8901 Kingsridge Road, the restaurant has been shuttered since earlier this week.
Max & Erma’s Spokesperson Tracy Coats said the Miami Township location was closed as a result of Max & Erma’s Restaurants Inc. ’s reorganization under Chapter 11 bankruptcy. He said between eight and 10 locations have been shuttered because they were either under-performing or their costs, such as leases, were too high. All of those locations were company-owned.
Columbus-based Max & Erma’s operates 110 restaurants, mainly in the Midwest. The majority, 79, are company-owned, with 31 franchise locations. Read more.
