Raleigh-Durham International Airport announced Thursday
that a Burger King restaurant will open in late fall 2010 on Aviation Parkway, next to the Sheetz station at National Guard Drive.
The airport authority approved a 20-year lease with Charlotte-based Prospect Foods LLC, a Burger King franchisee. Prospect Foods is expected to start construction next spring. Airport officials hope to find another restaurant to be a third tenant at the site, which it calls Aviation Station.
