Reward Offered In Pizza Restaurant Robberies

Police are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who robbed two pizza restaurants in the same evening.

On Dec. 13, Portland police said the robber walked into a Pizza Hut restaurant, located at 1747 S.E. 122nd Ave., at 5:23 p.m. with a handgun. He jumped over the counter, made threats, demanded money then fled the scene, officers said.

Two hours later, investigators said the same man robbed a Papa Murphy’s Pizza restaurant, located at 11635 N.E. Halsey St.

He walked into the store, walked behind the counter and demanded money, police said. He then fled the scene in a stolen car, investigators said. The robbery was caught on surveillance video.
