Aspasia Group has launched the first organic restaurant “Modak’ in Bangalore.
According to Satish, chairman of the Aspasia group, this restaurant’s focus is to make organic food affordable at affordable costs. The restaurant offers two types of vegetarian spread at Rs 50 and Rs 80 respectively.
The Modak food sans chemicals and vegetables are sourced through the Unity Foundation which are promoters of organic farming.
Much of the products are sourced from Era Organics, vegetables from Hosur, rice from Sirsi, finished products like pickles, papads from Thirthalli, Dhal from north India, rock salt, salt from Adi Naturals in Bangalore.
