The landmarked Gage & Tollner restaurant on Fullton Mall reopens next week in its newest incarnation, as an Arby’s.
The fast food, roast beef sandwich chain will have a soft opening at the 372-374 Fulton St. site on Thursday, Jan. 21, followed by a more formal opening a couple of weeks after that, according to Raymond Chera, president and co-owner of RCNY, formerly Chera Realty, and now the Arby’s franchisee.
“We have gotten a lot of positive support and good words on this,” Chera told the Eagle Monday. “And there’s a lot of excitement about opening this historic space to the public again and restoring it to its former glory.” More.
