Bain Capital To Buy Domino’s Franchisee In Japan

Boston Globe:

Bain Capital, a Boston investment firm that has made investments in such restaurant chains as Dunkin’ Donuts and Burger King, said that it has agreed to buy the master franchisee of Domino’s Pizza in Japan.

The franchisee is Higa Industries Co. Ltd., which currently operates 179 franchised Domino’s Pizza stores in Japan.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
