Informal Street-Food Vendor First To “Franchise”

Street food on all levels is still blossoming in San Francisco, with several more legal and informal vendors getting ready to make late spring and early summer debuts.

In the meantime, Lumpia Cart, which launched last summer, is the first of the small-scale sellers to respond to high demand by creating a second lumpia frying setup so that it can be serving in two different locations at the same time, as it started doing last weekend.
