Fantastic Sams Hair Salon Slashing Fee For Franchises

Fantastic Sams, a hair salon chain with 17 outlets along the Wasatch Front and two more in St. George, hopes to expand in Rocky Mountain states with a large reduction in the fee to acquire a franchise.

The Memphis-based company said it is selling franchise licenses for $5,000, a savings of $20,000 over the previous standard.

“With the depressed retail real estate climate, better locations are available at significantly lower lease rates than we have seen in more than a decade,” said Scott Baird, regional director of market development for Fantastic Sams. “We want to do everything we can to leverage this opportunity and expand.”
