New Airport Restaurant Service Woes

We’ve had quite a bit of feedback from listeners about really bad service at two of King Shaka airport’s restaurants – Mugg & Bean and Cape Town Fish Market.

It seems both were caught short as huge crowds descended on the venues when the new airport opened, and the staff had major wobblies.

Margaret Shaw said she and her family went to check out the airport ahead of their son’s arrival from Australia and decided to have a meal there. Off they went to Mugg & Bean and after a 15-minute wait they were shown to a table and offered drinks, which arrived. So far so good.
