Wild Birds Unlimited is the original and largest franchise system of backyard bird feeding and nature specialty stores with locations throughout the United States and Canada.
According to the 2006 Department of Interior’s National Survey of Fishing, Hunting and Wildlife-Associated Recreation, more than 53 million enjoy feeding wild birds, making it the second most popular hobby next to gardening. However, bird feeding is quite unlike other recreational activities due to its regional and even localized nature – making marketing more complex.
