ComCam International, Inc. announced today that it has executed a joint venture agreement with
The School of Franchising in Kansas City, Kansas to offer a turnkey franchise management system as a monthly service to the restaurant industry. The joint venture expects to deploy ComCam’s patented video-based Enterprise Sensor Management (ESM) system to 3,000 franchise units by the end of 2011 and another 25,000 by the end of 2012.
ESM integrates a powerful POS system and a network of sensors with a ComCam gateway device, allowing franchise owners to visually monitor activities critical to the franchise from a wireless handheld or laptop. Sensors attached to all in-store appliances that require ongoing monitoring give the franchise owner a powerful tool for saving money, reducing shrinkage, and viewing real-time, up-to-the-minute profit and loss data. A pilot demonstration of the system is currently up and running in Kansas in two Mr. Goodcents franchises – http://www.mrgoodcents.com. Mr. Goodcents, a franchise concept with over 130 units throughout the Midwest, will be the testbed for future releases of the ESM system.
