Five Guys Burger Chain To Expand Into Stuart

A franchise location of the fast-growing Five Guys Burgers and Fries chain is scheduled to open here in September.

The restaurant, to be at 2185 SE Federal Highwa, is owned by MPR Development, LLC the franchisee for Martin, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties, said Molly Catalano, marketing director at Five Guys.

MPR Development, based in Jupiter, is owned by the Tracy family, Catalano said. They currently own and operate three Five Guys locations in Palm Beach County, she said, at Legacy Place in Palm Beach Gardens, The Pointe at Wellington Green and at Boynton Town Center.

The company has plans to open a total of 20 locations in the region. In 2011, they plan additional stores in Jupiter, Delray Beach and Boca Raton.
