Downtown Barbershop Offers More Than Just Haircuts

A new barbershop has located in downtown Tuscaloosa, but it’s no ordinary barbershop with the swirling red and white pole outside. Instead, look for giant fish, deer horns and a complimentary bar.

Just 4 Him Men’s Haircut Lounge, part of a larger chain of such barbershops, opened on July 5 and co-owner Thomas Brown said he decided to open the shop downtown because of its thriving environment.

“When we got to Tuscaloosa, we liked the way the downtown area was growing and restoring,” he said.
Brown and his brother, Jake Brown, opened the barbershop after friends of theirs opened another Just 4 Him in another city.
