Potbelly Sandwich Works Bags Second Franchisee

Potbelly Sandwich Works LLC announced Monday that it has signed a franchise agreement with a couple in Toledo, the Chicago-based chain’s second such deal.

Jeff and Susan Gibbs, both 50, are planning to open a Potbelly Sandwich Shop at 4038 Talmadge Road near Westfield Mall in Toledo in December or January. It will be the company’s first location in Northwest Ohio.

In August, Potbelly announced its first franchise deal, with a couple in El Paso, Texas.
