What do you do if you haven’t got someone handy around the house? Steve Haynes says you should call on him, because he’s a Hire A Hubby franchisee.

It’s a concept that arrived from Australia a year ago and this month and Steve, of Cardiff, was one of the first to sign up.

“My career had been in sales and marketing but then I moved to Spain where I did a lot of building work, which I enjoyed,” said the 54-year-old.

“When I came home I was looking for work and a friend introduced me to Hire A Hubby.

“It looked a great opportunity but I was very nervous. The confidence of the owners persuaded me it could work.” More.
