Curves Offering Breast Cancer Awareness Incentives

Curves of Jefferson City, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is waiving the joining fee for new members who show proof of a recent mammogram or make a $25 donation to the American Cancer Society.

Curves is also offering an FDA-approved tool called the Liv Aid, a heart-shaped fluid-filled pad designed to enhance a woman’s ability to notice changes in her breast tissue and feel lumps or irregularities.

Club members may also purchase a ribbon at the club in memory of or in honor of a friend or family member who has been affected by or lost someone to the disease. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
