IHOP Being Built In North Arlington

Construction has begun on an IHOP restaurant near the new Holiday Inn hotel off Interstate 30 and Wet N Wild Way in Arlington.

Plano-based ACG Texas, the largest IHOP franchisee in the country, bought the restaurant pad site in September from Greenway-Eye Thirty North, a Dallas-based real estate partnership, deed records show.

Robert Tomlinson, senior vice president of operation for ACG Texas, said the company has been scouting a north Arlington location for quite some time. When it opens in late December, the restaurant will be the company’s 61st location but its first in Arlington, he said. Read more.
