NorthJersey.com:

An expanding burger chain is hoping its new Clifton location, which opened its doors this week, will be as much of a ‘smash’ amongst City patrons as it seemingly has around the country.

In 2007, Smashburger opened its first restaurant in Denver, Colo.

Three years later, the company currently boasts 85 locations nationwide with an additional 15 restaurants opening over the next year including three more in northern New Jersey.

The company has a goal of ultimately opening 500 franchises across the country.
