NEWS.com.au:

Young people are being actively hunted to run businesses for major franchise chains like Bakers Delight.

Eagle Boys Pizza, Snap Printing and Bakers Delight are among a number of franchises making it cheaper and easier for young people to run their stores.

Nearly one in five Australian franchisors have youth recruitment strategies according to a survey of 81 franchise businesses by research firm Ten Thousand Feet.

In 2009, only 11 per cent of franchise businesses were targeting younger staff; this year that figure rose to 17 per cent.
