Customers at two Chester restaurants have been thanked for doing their part in raising more than £1,000 for charity.
Franchisee of two McDonald’s stores in Chester, Jeanette Roe, extended her gratitude to everyone who has donated cash
towards the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) fund over the past year. A large amount of the cash had been raised through collection boxes set up at the two stores. Other fundraising drives have included face painting, a staff sweepstake during the World Cup in June and a football festival in July which raised more than £500.
The scheme began when Jeanette joined the Arrowe Park fundraising committee at the beginning of 2010.
