Kudos To Church’s Franchisee

An area woman was named the 2010 Franchisee of the Year by Church’s Chicken.

Janice Bowen opened her first restaurant in Kerrville in 1993 with her late husband. She now operates seven stores in the Texas Hill Country and San Angelo. She was given the award at the company’s national convention in Las Vegas.

“Being named Franchisee of the Year is a great honor and we will work continuously to uphold the value and quality of the Church’s Chicken brand, which is so beloved in Texas,” Bowen said in a prepared statement released by Church’s Chicken.
