Herald Sun:

A Werribee woman strengthened McDonald’s credentials as a family restaurant when she gave birth outside a Corio store in Geelong.

Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said the parents were driving through Geelong on their way to a party in Werribee when they were forced to take a detour about 7.30pm.

He said the partner of the 29-year-old mother was forced to pull up at the golden arches in Corio, along the Princes Highway, for the baby to arrive.

“They had to pull over outside McDonald’s and that’s where the baby popped out,” Mr Mullen said.
