Jon Charles Tests Franchising, Targeting Snowbird Markets

Twin Cities salon operator Jon Charles wants to expand his business again, this time through franchising.

Charles is offering franchise opportunities in Palm Springs, Calif., Boca Raton, Fla., and Scottsdale, Ariz. — markets selected due to their popularity as winter getaways for Minnesotans. He hopes to have his first deal finalized soon, paving the way for a Jon Charles Salon to open in Scottsdale by July.
