New Addition For Allentown’s Restaurant Row

Owners of Allentown’s Brew Works are opening a Mexican restaurant and adjoining coffee shop next week, adding to the city’s burgeoning restaurant row.

“We were looking for something small and quick,” said co-owner Michael Fegley. “We didn’t wait for anybody else to do something like this, so we said ‘let’s make it happen.’ ”

Burrito Works, and Coffee Works will open Tuesday next to Brew Works on the 800 block of Hamilton Street.

The two new businesses take the 2,000-square-foot space that formerly housed Quiznos and City Line coffee shop. Both businesses closed in 2009.
