Only one year on since its franchise was launched in Ireland, Car Medic has won the Judges Special Merit Award in the Best Emerging Franchise Category at the Ulster Bank Irish Franchise Association Awards 2011.
Car Medic entered the Irish franchising market last year at the 2010 Irish Franchise Association Expo held at Croke Park. Car Medic franchise owners provide a mobile vehicle repair service and can repair all cosmetic damages to vehicles such as bumper scuffs, scratches, alloy refurbishment windscreen repairs and interior repairs.
“Our business model suits this price sensitive market with our repairs often being up to 70 per cent cheaper than bodyshop prices,” said Paul Callan, of Car Medic (Ireland) Ltd. “The fact that we have won this prestigious award is proof that this franchise business model is a winner in today’s market.”
