Business To Donate Proceeds To Fire Victims

Woodstock Sentinel Review:

A city furniture business is donating a percentage of its sales in April to help the victims of Sunday’s explosion and fire.

Roger Banghart, franchisee of Leon’s Woodstock, said he was motivated when victims of the fire came into the store Monday looking for used furniture or mattresses.

Leon’s often has a stock of used items that are usually thrown away at the end of each month.

Many of the people left homeless by the fire have no insurance, he said.

“It touches your, what can I say,” he said.
