Panera Bread Franchisee Cooks Up 25-Store Expansion

The local franchisee of Panera Bread Co. is looking for 1,250 to 1,750 pairs of hands to help it roll in the dough during the next three years.

Altamonte Springs-based Covelli Family LP expects to add 25 new stores — including 19 in the Orlando area — in its 10-county territory that stretches from Lake County to the east coast of Florida. The company expects to roll out a new store every two months using a $25 million line of credit from PNC Financial Services Group Inc.
