McDonald’s Raised Money

WLKM Radio:

McDonald’s restaurants in White Pigeon and Centreville announced last week that they helped raise more than $1,600 through contributions its workers solicited on behalf of Community Action’s annual Walk for Warmth fundraiser.

Through most of February, both McDonald’s collected $1 donations to help aid the cause, which provides assistance to area residents delinquent in paying their heating bills. Jim Maynard, McDonald’s franchisee owner, said the two restaurants have been long-time supporters of the Walk for Warmth event.
