Herriman Opens First McDonald’s

McDonald’s celebrated the opening of its first restaurant in Herriman at 5018 W. 13400 S. on Friday, April 8 with a special giveaway to the first 100 adults that were at the restaurant.

Rob Sparrer, franchisee of the new contemporary restaurant said they gave away 100 vouchers for an extra value meal a week. The 52-week coupons were awarded to the first 100 adults, age 18 and older with identification, at the new restaurant. Additionally, the restaurant gave away 100th customer prizes to guests throughout the day. The Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce participated in a ribbon cutting at the restaurant at 9 a.m.

Sleek and modern in design, the newest McDonald’s restaurant features white tile, red pendant lighting and a black ceiling.
