GameTruck Party Franchise Offers Video Arcade On Wheels

Allan Katzen pulled his truck into Loomis Grammar School on Tuesday afternoon, and was “attacked by a mass of humanity,” he said.

“I was just handing out business cards as fast as I could,” said Katzen, chuckling at the thought of kids storming his truck. “Parents are probably going to hate us.”

Maybe so. But many will likely wind up calling him. That’s because Katzen doesn’t drive just any truck; he owns a GameTruck, one of a new crop of supervised interactive vehicles driving party entertainment out of the age of clowns and magicians and into the 21st century video gaming environment.

GameTruck Corp., the world’s first mobile video game theater franchise, arrived in the Sacramento area last month. Owned by Loomis residents Allan and Jan Katzen, the 32-foot truck can be rented for parties and corporate events. Read more.
