Panera Bread’s Central Ohio franchisee is gearing up to open the region’s first drive-through-equipped location and is staying on theme to lure customers in.
Warren-based franchisee Covelli Enterprises said the chain’s latest bakery-cafe will open Tuesday at 1531 Hilliard Rome Road in Columbus. In a nod to record-high gas prices, the chain says it’s giving away gas gift cards every hour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and registering customers for a $500 gas card, the winner of which will be announced at a ribbon-cutting next Friday.
Other grand opening offers will apply to dine-in customers only.
