Victoria Times Colonist:

Right at Home® International, Inc., a leading franchisor of in-home senior care and assistance, anticipates a growing demand for professionally managed care services in Canada as families there increasingly struggle with balancing work and elderly care. Today, more than 5 million Canadian people are 65 years of age or older, which represents more than 15 percent of the population. By 2056, more than 25 percent of Canada’s population is projected to be 65 years of age or older.

“Professionally managed care services provided through a Right at Home Master Franchise offer a good solution to the challenges facing traditional family care while improving the lives of elderly citizens,” according to Allen Hager, Right at Home Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman. “The potential for growth in Canada is tremendous.”

Hager attended the June 9, 2011, opening of the first in-home senior care service office in Beijing, China, which will operate under a Right at Home master franchise license agreement.
