Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Set To Open In Seminole

Ross and Kelli Johnson will open their first Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the largest quick-serve barbecue chain in the country, in Seminole at 701 N. Main.

“Dickey’s Barbecue will be a great addition to Seminole. We are excited to open our doors and serve the entire South Plains,” said Kelli, who will run the restaurant with her brother-in-law, Ross.

This is the first Dickey’s Barbecue franchise for Seminole.

“We feel it will be a focal meeting point in the community. We plan to be active supporters of local school clubs and athletic teams. We will also be a wonderful source for catering to area businesses, civic clubs and schools. Dickey’s Seminole should also be the go-to place for event caterings and private parties, as well as wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners,” said Ross Johnson, co-owner/operator of this new location.

This is the first Dickey’s franchise opportunity for Ross and Kelli, who hope to open more locations in the future.
