Aaron’s Franchisee Buys Rent-To-Own Shops

WGC LLC of Athens, a franchisee for Aaron’s Sales and Lease Ownership, recently purchased two area rent-to-own businesses — one in Athens and one in Commerce.

The company acquired New Avenues in Athens on June 27 and moved all customer contracts from New Avenues to the Aaron’s store on Lexington Road before closing the New Avenues location. The Athens Aaron’s offers semimonthly and monthly payment options.

WGC also purchased the Crusader Rent to Own in Commerce, merging all customer agreements with the Aaron’s shop in Commerce and closing the Crusader store.
