United Restaurants In An Expansion Mode

United Restaurants, a Bengaluru based operator of the US Pizza chain has set to increase the number of its outlets to 250 from 90 by 2014. The brand also plans to raise at least Rs 60 crore from private equity (PE) investors for expansion.

The firm looks forward to expanding within India and enters new markets in the subcontinent and Africa.

United Restaurants has been profitable since last decade and revenue in 2010-11 increased 50 per cent over the previous fiscal year. United Restaurants owns two more Indian fast food brands – Satvik and Toastyz which sells kaati rolls, aloo parathas, vada pavs, samosas and sandwiches.
