TheFranchiseHound interviewed Kyle Kinney, a franchise co-owner of two Biggby Coffee shops in Kalamazoo, Mich. Kinney recently expanded one of his stores and is forecasting that sales in both locations will grow by double digits in 2011.

FH: How did you decide on the kind of business you wanted to own?
KK: My father Allan Kinney and I [who together own both stores] researched a wide variety of businesses and franchises and kept coming back to Biggby on every list that we started. We ultimately decided on Biggby because of the business plan that they had put together and the amount of support and training that they put into each franchise opened. They have a great support team and they make opening a store as simple as possible because of the thought they put into their training and operations.
