A Papa John’s Pizza franchisee’s bankruptcy filing has stalled paychecks for employees at more than 70 restaurants in Colorado and Minnesota.
Notices posted Thursday at the restaurants — which remain open — said that owner PJCOMN Acquisition Corp. filed Tuesday for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
PJCOMN Acquisition on Thursday asked the bankruptcy court in Baltimore — where it is based — for permission to keep paying about 1,200 employees while it works out financial problems.
