Fast-Food Franchisee Buys Iconic Tony Packo’s

The famed Tony Packo’s Inc. restaurant chain in Toledo has been acquired by a non-family member, but he promises a couple of Packos will have a hand in running the business, the Toledo Blade reports.

Burger King franchisee Bob Bennett bought the chain with a $5.5 million bid – the highest of three offered in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. Bennett owns 25 Burger Kings in northwest Ohio.
