Biba, the Indian ethnic wear brand is seeking to expand the presence of its stores to 150 by 2013. Presently, the company has a combination of 83 company-owned and franchised stores pan India has come up with three new collections for autumn. These are namely Urban Carnival, Fusion En’salada and Royal Safari.

The ‘Urban Carnival’ is inspired by the ‘kilims’ from the Arabic world and is available in premium cottons, crepe, cambric’s, rayon blends and knit fabric. ‘Fusion En’salada’, inspired from Mexican art and lifestyle is accessible in 100 per cent cottons, cotton blends, crepe, georgettes, cambric’s, knits and rayon blends. ‘Royal Safari’, which has roots of Indian culture and ethnic craft, carries a blend of Indian designs with embroideries and embellishments.
