Furniture and electrical retailer Harvey Norman has more than 110,000 reasons to celebrate its first year of business in Ipswich.

Despite dealing with the flow-on effects of the worst flooding seen in the city since 1974, the electrical goods franchise, which opened in the Ipswich Mall on November 12, 2010, has enjoyed a bumper 12 months.

To celebrate, Ipswich customers will be treated to a month’s worth of bargains, with the chance to win a 50-inch plasma-screen TV. Franchisee John Morton said the store had seen more than 110,000 transactions in its first year.
