Scottish on-site glass crushing specialist, Ekko Waste Management has launched a franchising programme to accelerate its expansion.

The Ayr-based company providing portable glass crushing machines and a collection service to the leisure sector, with clients including Crowne Plaza Hotel and Network Rail.

According to the company, for the licensed trade particularly, this means that premises can dispense with large unsightly bins, helping them avoid kerbside fines and penalties, and improves relations with neighbours by reducing glass collection noise.
