Vet’s New Blend: Pet-Friendly Coffee Shop

Being a coffee addict and inspired by his travels abroad, veterinarian Ody Camarillo recently opened a business to merge his interests.

Camarillo opened Ody’s Coffee House Wine and Beer on D. Jakosalem St. and offered Cebuano pet lovers a place to hang out while enjoying their coffee blend.

“(Drinking) coffee is my way of de-stressing,” said Camarillo, who is on call for 24 hours. He is the owner of Cebu Veterinary Doctors, which has five outlets in Cebu. He also runs a distribution company for veterinary products in the Visayas-Mindanao areas.

“With this hectic schedule, I make it to a point to go somewhere far from the city to drink coffee or beer just to unwind,” he said.
